having worked in industry as a designer and senior engineer he joined the University of Wolverhampton and gained his PhD in the area of Product Design in 2001. He has provided consultancy to companies in sustainable new product design and development using the latest time compression technologies and provided research supervision/consultancy to companies in new product design and development in the area of exterior housing products in plastics and fabricated construction products for the built environment. His current role is Director of Research and Scholarship in the Architectural and Product Design Department within the School Of Engineering And The Built Environment with research interests in sustainable/inclusive design, 3D modelling and multidisciplinary
