Professor Lamine Mahdjoubi

Prof Mahdjoubi is an architect and urban designer by professional background.  His research spans the evaluation of aspects of the social and environmental function of the built environment.  It also includes the development of tools and techniques for use in decision support in planning and design.  His recent research interests focused on the relationship between the design of public spaces, and the complex and interrelated pattern of factors contributing to inactive lifestyles and well-being.  He has led many nationally and internationally funded projects in this field. He has also published widely, and chaired and spoken at many international seminars and conferences.
