Councillor Malcolm Gwinnett is currently the Mayor of the City of Wolverhampton.  Councillor Gwinnett was elected to Wolverhampton City Council in 1990, representing the Spring Vale ward, and has served on many committees during his 21 year career in local government, including Planning (for over 15 years), Leisure, Finance, Regeneration and, more recently, Audit and Standards Committees.

Away from politics, Councillor Gwinnett’s personal business is within the leisure industry.
