Dr. Mohamed Gamal Abdelmonem Queens University Belfast, U.K
Mohamed Abdelmonem is lecturer in Architecture and a practicing architect in Egypt, United Arab Emirates and the United Kingdom. He worked a lecturer at Ajman University (2002-2006), a contributing lecturer at Sheffield School of Architecture (2007-2009) and currently, he is a lecturer at Queens University’s School of Architecture (SPACE). He completed his Bachelor and Masters Degree at Cairo University while his PhD is undertaken at Sheffield School of Architecture. His research interests and publications cover issues of sustainability in architecture, traditional practice, the architecture of home, and Middle Eastern urban environments
