Dr Rabah Saoud

Title of presentation :Modernism, Identity and Architecture in North African Cities  

 

Dr. Rabah Saoud started his academic career in Liverpool where he obtained an M'phil on Conservation of  Historic Cities.  In Manchester he carried out a PhD research and then went on to lecture on urban conservation in the latter.  He has more than 60 articles published in the leading historical E-journal of Muslimheritage.com. In 2005 he played a leading r ole in bringing  to light the historical significance of  t he worlds biggest themed mall, Ibn Battuta Mall, Dubai 2005.  His most recent involvement was co-edit ion of  a book  entitled “ Muslim  Heritage in Our Wold” , published by FSTC,  UK 2006, which became a best seller in the subject
