Dr. Raffaele Pernice

After graduating from IUAV - Architectural Institute of Venice, Italy, moved to Japan with a scholarship granted by the Japanese Government. From 2001 to 2004 was doctoral student at Waseda University of Tokyo, and then moved to South Korea were spent a period as practicing architect in Seoul before completing his PhD in Architecture with a dissertation on the mega-projects developed for Tokyo Bay by the Japanese Metabolists during the 1960s.

In 2007-2009 was a post-doc researcher at Hosei University of Tokyo with a fellowship granted by the JSPS - Japan Society for the Promotion of Science. Since October 2009 is Assistant Professor in the College of Engineering at Ajman University of Science and Technology, UAE
