Prof. El Diasty is the Chair of the Department of Architectural Engineering and a former Dean of the College of Engineering, UAE University and Advisor for the university new campus master plan. Prior to moving to UAE, Prof. El Diasty was a Professor at Arizona State University, Tempe, Arizona (1989-1998) and Associate Professor at Concordia University in Montreal, Canada (1985-1989) and Assistant Professor at King Saud University in Riyadh, SA. He has published extensively in refereed intl. journals and conferences.
